I had the 880 for 2 years and thought I would write a review for directing people away from this product line in general. I guess the Nuvi line is all based on its specification (CPU, internal) so this would apply to any Garmin product line. Overall I rate this product 1 star and would not recommend it to anyone. I have loved Garmin products in the past, especially the street pilot series still use the nuvi series. The Nuvi line is of poor quality. My Garmin 880 is back on 2 occasions and has enough problems. My last issue is who decides to stop working and lock up on long trips. This happens without warning, so you can imagine driving on a long road and not realizing the drive has stopped working. Meanwhile, his off has passed. This goes easily unnoticed because only look at the unit from time to time, when driving. However, I would avoid the line of Garmin and try another brand. Garmin These units are junk. I'm not sure what is good out there, but the investigation of Magellan and some others, if I were you.

Problems with Hwy 10 West Houston, TX on HWY 45 West to Highway 99-Grand Parkway. . . This completes the new construction making this the largest in the U.S. HWY. . . Garmin 885T keeps me off the road and crashed going through the figure of Sam Houston. . . when Hwy 10 West jumps to the back roads and over again!
